To accomplish this we have developed a very rigorous process as part of our hiring process, including:
- All candidates require a passing score on an online skill assessment test; with a passing written score, all candidates will be required to participate in a phone assessment to be scheduled with one of our National Compliance Managers.
- All candidates require an active credential prior to testing and subject to a compliance audit throughout calendar year.
- All candidates must have 2 years recent coding experience.
- All candidates must have a minimum experience level of working in a 175 bed acute care hospital.
- All full-time consultants are required to complete our ICD-10 education curriculum.
- Prior to working in an ICD-10 environment, all candidates will be required to pass an ICD-10 coding assessment.
